The FIG Foundation will sponsor and award Young Surveyor Grants in support of FIG Congress 2026 and FIG Young Surveyors Conference

The FIG Foundation will sponsor and award Young Surveyor Grants in support of XXVIII FIG Congress 2026 and 10th FIG Young Surveyors Conference.

Deadline to submit application is 5 December 2025, 17:00 GMT.

XXVIII FIG Congress 2026 and 10th FIG Young Surveyors Conference
Cape Town, South Africa
23-29 May 2026

A total of four (4) grants will be awarded. Each grant will include the following:

• Air transportation from home airport to Cape Town, South Africa
• Hotel accommodations for 8 nights
• Conference registration fees
• Reimbursement of visa fee (if required)
• Ticket for Gala Dinner
• Allowance of 100 Euros

Terms:

• This is a global grant offering and open to all eligible young surveyors worldwide.
• FIG Foundation definition of a young surveyor: "A young surveyor or student of surveying 35 years or younger".
• Prior recipients of an FIG Foundation grant are not eligible to apply. Applications without all required information will be rejected and not considered.

• Funds for these grants are provided solely by the FIG Foundation, an independent body under the Internaitional Federation of Surveyors (FIG).
