FIG Vice President visits the member association from Malaysia PEJUTA

While I was on a business trip to Kuala Lumpur in June, I took the opportunity to meet our Member Association, Association of Authorised Land Surveyor Malaysia (PEJUTA).  I was warmly welcomed by President MD Rodi Bin Ismail, Secretary General MOHD Latif Bin Zainal and the Chief Operating Officer Raja Bismayazan together with the Secretariat.  

We had a fruitful discussion about the organisation structure of both institutes and their pathway of how their members are qualified. I am very impressed on the institute’s positive support to their members attending local and overseas CPD events.  While I encouraged them to attend the ucoming Regional Conference in Nepal in Nov 2024 and the FIG Working Week in Brisbane in April 2025, they expressed that they would be interested in joining the events. The meeting was finished with a taste of local delicious durian!
